About Our Western Vocals Classes
Western vocal classes at Melody Makers in Dubai are one-to-one, 1-hour lessons for all ages, held at our Karama studio and online via Zoom. As a Registered Trinity College London Exam Centre, we prepare singers for graded examinations while covering pop, jazz, rock, musical theatre and classical styles. Group vocal workshops are also available for ensemble singing and harmony development.
Our Western vocal programme covers breath control, tone quality, vocal range extension, projection, posture and vocal health. Students explore styles from Western classical and musical theatre to contemporary pop, jazz and rock, with repertoire tailored to each individual’s voice and musical taste. Classes also develop performance skills including microphone technique, stage presence and audience connection.
As a Registered Exam Centre of Trinity College London, we prepare vocal students for internationally recognised singing examinations. Our exam preparation includes in-house mock performances, progress monitoring and specialist coaching on exam repertoire and technique.
Every vocal lesson is a full one-hour session. We offer both one-to-one lessons for personalised development and group workshops for ensemble singing, vocal harmony and performance experience. Online lessons via Zoom have proven highly effective for vocal coaching, making our programme accessible to students across Dubai and internationally.

Trinity College London Exam Preparation
Melody Makers is a Registered Exam Centre of Trinity College London. We prepare western vocals students for internationally recognised graded examinations from Initial through to Grade 8. Our exam preparation programme includes:
- Individualised lesson plans aligned to the Trinity syllabus
- Constant progress monitoring with clear milestones
- In-house mock examinations simulating real exam conditions
- Specialist workshops with tips on exam technique and facing the examiner
- Theory and supporting test preparation integrated into every lesson
Certification is optional. Students can also learn purely for enjoyment without pursuing formal examinations.
