If your child is not engaged after the very first session of a coding bundle, we refund the entire bundle. No questions, no forms, no friction. Same guarantee we have honoured since 1997.

1. Who this policy applies to

This Refund Policy applies to all online purchases made through melodymakers.ae and to bundles, courses, and recurring classes booked at our studio operated by Melody Makers Music & Fine Arts Centre LLC-SO (trade licence 130222), C 110, Karama Center, Kuwait Road, Al Karama, Dubai, UAE.

It works alongside our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

2. Coding bundles — the first-session guarantee

The promise. Coding bundles (Spark, Builder, Founder, and any successor packages) carry a full money-back guarantee tied to the very first session. If, after that first session, you decide the programme is not the right fit for your child, we will refund the entire bundle.

When the window opens and closes. The refund window opens the moment the first scheduled session ends, and closes when the second scheduled session begins. You can also request a refund at any time before the first session takes place. Once the second session has started, the bundle is no longer refundable, but credits and transfers may apply (see section 4).

How to request. Email info@melodymakers.ae or WhatsApp +971 50 696 3044 with the order email and a short note. No form, no forensic interview. We process it the same business day.

How the refund is paid. Refunds are issued back to the original card or payment method via Stripe. The funds typically reach your statement in 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank. The full amount you paid is returned, including any taxes; no processing or administrative fee is deducted.

3. Music, dance, art, and other classes

For recurring monthly classes and term enrolments at our studio (music, dance, fine arts, speech & drama, communication, and similar):

  • Trial lessons are complimentary and carry no charge to refund.
  • First paid month or term. If you start lessons and decide within the first two sessions that the class is not the right fit, we will refund the remaining unattended sessions for that month or term, pro-rated.
  • After the first two sessions. Fees already paid for the current month or term are non-refundable, but unused sessions can be converted to credit or transferred to another family member (see section 4).
  • Registration and exam fees set by Trinity College London, ABGMVM, or any other external body are non-refundable once the entry has been submitted.

4. Credits, freezes, and transfers

Where a direct refund does not apply, we offer alternatives:

  • Credit. Unused sessions can be held as account credit, valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, and applied against any future class or bundle.
  • Freeze. Long-term enrolments can be paused for up to 8 weeks per academic year on documented medical or travel grounds, with no extra fee.
  • Transfer. Unused sessions can be transferred to a sibling, parent, or another nominated family member at no charge.

5. Cancellations by Melody Makers

If we cancel a session or a programme for reasons within our control (teacher unavailability, studio closure, etc.) and we are unable to provide an acceptable make-up or alternative, the affected sessions will be refunded in full. Refunds in this case are issued by the original payment method or as account credit, at your choice.

6. Late arrivals, no-shows, and behaviour

Sessions missed without at least 24 hours' notice are not eligible for refund. We offer one rescheduled make-up per bundle for any student-initiated absence; further absences are forfeited.

We reserve the right to refuse a refund where enrolment is terminated for serious or repeated breaches of our Code of Conduct (see Terms of Use, section 10).

7. Force majeure

In cases where we cannot deliver a programme because of events outside our reasonable control (government restrictions, public health emergencies, natural events, force majeure), we will, at your choice, reschedule the missed sessions, issue equivalent account credit, or refund the unattended portion.

8. Chargebacks and disputes

Please contact us first before raising a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. The vast majority of disputes are resolved within one working day by email. Chargebacks raised without first contacting us may result in the account being suspended pending resolution.
