About Our Speech & Drama Classes
Speech and drama classes at Melody Makers in Dubai are small-group lessons for kids and teens aged 5 to 17, delivered at our Karama studio and online via Zoom. As a Registered Trinity College London Exam Centre with nearly 30 years of experience, we prepare students for internationally recognised Speech and Drama qualifications. The programme builds public speaking, acting, improvisation and stage confidence in a supportive environment.
Our programme covers public speaking, communication skills, drama and theatre performance (acting, character development, improvisation, stagecraft), storytelling and narration, scene work and ensemble exercises, poetry and story presentation, and voice exercises. Classes are conducted in small groups to ensure every student receives individual attention and ample speaking time.
As a Registered Exam Centre of Trinity College London, we prepare students for internationally recognised Speech and Drama qualifications. These examinations develop and formally assess speaking, listening, creative and performance skills - credentials that strengthen university applications and demonstrate communication competence.

Trinity College London Exam Preparation
Melody Makers is a Registered Exam Centre of Trinity College London. We prepare speech & drama students for internationally recognised graded examinations from Initial through to Grade 8. Our exam preparation programme includes:
- Individualised lesson plans aligned to the Trinity syllabus
- Constant progress monitoring with clear milestones
- In-house mock examinations simulating real exam conditions
- Specialist workshops with tips on exam technique and facing the examiner
- Theory and supporting test preparation integrated into every lesson
Certification is optional. Students can also learn purely for enjoyment without pursuing formal examinations.
