About Our Western Dance Classes
Western dance classes at Melody Makers in Dubai are group lessons for all ages, covering hip hop, jazz, contemporary, Bollywood, salsa and reggaeton at our Karama studio. With nearly 30 years of performing-arts experience, our programme blends choreography, freestyle and technique in high-energy 1-hour sessions. Regular stage performances and charity shows build real confidence alongside dance skill.
Our dance choreographer Akshay Kumar is known for his innovative and creative abilities, bringing fresh energy and current trends into every class while maintaining strong foundational technique. Classes combine choreography, improvisation, freestyle exploration and contemporary and hip-hop techniques in a high-energy, supportive environment.
Regular showcases and stage performances give students the opportunity to perform what they have learned in front of live audiences. Melody Makers actively organises events, charity shows and community performances that build confidence and stage presence. Many parents tell us that seeing their child perform on stage for the first time is one of the most rewarding experiences of their time at Melody Makers.

Kids
4–12 years
Fun, age-appropriate choreography to popular music. We build coordination, confidence and a lifelong love of dance in a supportive, encouraging environment.
Teenagers
13–17 years
Dynamic classes blending current dance trends with solid technique. Teens love the creative freedom and the opportunity to express their individuality through movement.
Adults
18+ years
A fantastic workout that also teaches real dance skills. Our adult classes are welcoming, social and endlessly fun - no experience required.
