Music Production Teacher
Posted 2026-07-03 · Applications open until 2027-12-31
About the role
Music production is the craft of composing, recording, arranging, and mixing music using digital audio workstations like Logic Pro, FL Studio, and Ableton Live. Students learn beat-making, sound design, MIDI, audio engineering, and how to take an idea from a hook to a finished release. Our Music Production classes in Dubai run online and in-studio for ages 12+.
We are launching Music Production at Melody Makers and you would be the founding teacher for it. Melody Makers is a Trinity College London registered music and fine arts school, established in Dubai in 1997, now expanding its online faculty worldwide. This is a part-time contractor role: teach online from anywhere, with optional in-person classes at our Al Karama studio in Dubai.
What you will do
- Teach weekly 1-on-1 and small-group lessons (30, 45 or 60 minutes), online or at our Dubai studio
- Plan lessons across technique, theory, ear training and repertoire, tailored to each student
- Prepare students for Trinity College London / ABRSM / ABGMVM graded exams where applicable
- Track attendance and progress in our scheduling tools, and share quarterly progress updates with parents
- Get students stage-ready for our annual recitals and showcases
What we offer
- Students supplied: we handle marketing, SEO, ads and free trials — you teach, we fill your calendar
- Monthly payouts in AED, USD or USDT — no chasing parents for fees
- Registered Trinity College London exam centre + ABGMVM grades for your students
- Modern scheduling tools: classroom links, attendance, rescheduling, automated reminders
- A multinational faculty of 20+ teachers, established in Dubai since 1997
- Non-exclusive: keep teaching independently or with other schools
Requirements
- Proven teaching experience with strong student outcomes (degree or graded certification is a plus, not required)
- For online: reliable internet, laptop with webcam, good lighting and your own instrument/equipment
- Availability that overlaps student demand (peak: 3pm-10pm UAE weekdays, 9am-8pm UAE weekends) — other hours also work
- For in-person Dubai roles: UAE residence usually required; online roles need no UAE visa
