About Suchitra
Suchitra Prabhu was Director of Melody Makers for 15 years, leading the school through one of its strongest chapters before stepping back in 2026.
She now continues with us as Director Emerita and Senior Advisor. Many of the long-term student relationships, the community service tradition and the standard of teaching trace back to her direction, and she remains active in shaping the next chapter alongside the new directors.
Beyond the classroom, Suchitra led community service initiatives, charity performances and cultural events that became part of the school's annual rhythm, building a place where students stay for 10 to 15 years and families return a generation later.

Suchitra is part of the Melody Makers faculty, a team of dedicated professionals who have been nurturing musical and creative talent in Dubai for nearly three decades. As a Registered Exam Centre of Trinity College London, our teachers are experienced in preparing students for internationally recognised qualifications alongside developing a lifelong love of their art.
