About Our Garba Classes
Garba classes at Melody Makers in Dubai are group lessons for all ages, teaching traditional Gujarati folk dance year-round at our Karama studio. Students learn energetic circular formations, clapping patterns and dandiya raas stick technique in 1-hour sessions. Whether you are preparing for Navratri or want a fun, communal workout, Garba is one of the most inclusive and joyful group dance forms.
Classes are open to everyone - whether you want to prepare for Navratri celebrations, learn a fun group dance, connect with Gujarati culture, or simply enjoy an energetic workout that brings people together. Students learn traditional Garba steps, circular formations, dandiya stick technique and the musicality to dance in sync with live or recorded Garba music.
Garba is a wonderful social and fitness activity. The circular, communal format means everyone dances together, creating an uplifting, inclusive atmosphere that transcends age, ability and background.
