What is Belly Dance?
Belly dance (raqs sharqi) is a Middle Eastern dance form built around hip articulations, undulations, shimmies, and arm framing, performed to traditional and modern Arabic music. Students learn foundational technique, layering, and choreographies. Our Belly Dance classes in Dubai welcome adults online or at our Karama studio.

About Belly Dance classes at Melody Makers Dubai
Melody Makers’ dance faculty includes graded teachers across Western, Indian classical and contemporary forms. Our Belly Dance programme is launching for students of all ages, from kids beginning their first dance class to adults returning to movement.
Classes are offered both online and in-person at our Al Karama studio. We run annual recitals where every student performs, plus opportunities to participate in cultural events across Dubai. Where applicable, students can prepare for graded examinations through ABGMVM (recognised by India’s UGC) or local performance certifications.
